Mr. Ed, Bunny Dog!

Mr. Ed, a champion male, lived with a family on a working farm. The daughter's special project was raising baby bunnies and Ed was her dog. Occasionally, the bunny barn would have a board come loose or the wire loosen and the baby bunnies could escape and start to run away. Ed taught himself to chase them down and put a paw on them until his Mistress could come and fetch them back to the bunny barn. He would not harm them, he'd just hold them until they could all be rounded up. He also would help when the young pigs were rounded up to be taken to market. He would wait until he was told to "fetch one up, Ed!" As soon as he heard these words he's cut one pig out from the rest and corner him so that his owners could simply reach over the pen wall and lift the pig up. No one ever taught Ed to do this, he just watched what was going on an basically taught himself. Who says Corgis can't think for themselves!
