Animal Cruelty Investigated

The Greene County Sheriff's Department is investigating an incident of animal cruelty. Jerry Kite of Hammit Road, Bulls Gap, told officers he discovered that someone had come onto his property between Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon and had cut the feet and pulled hair out of a rabbit. Another rabbit's feet had been cut off, and the rabbit was left alive. A third rabbit was reported missing. Deputy C. H. Jessie investigated for the Greene County Sheriff's Department.
