Towering Oaks School Closes, Greene Valley Restricted Due To Flu

Towering Oaks Christian School will be closed today due to the large number of students out with illness. Director Bob Cardinal said the school would reopen on Monday.

Greene Valley has also announced measures that the facility will take to reduce the potential expousre of its residents to the flu. The gym, campsite, and pool will be closed to the general public. The volunteer program has also been temporarily suspended, and the situation will be re-evaluated on November 17.

No information was available Thursday on Greeneville City or Greene County schools.
